Your images and results

QR recovery runs inside your browser. QRecovery does not upload your images, filenames or decoded contents. It does not keep a recovery history, send results to analytics, or automatically open decoded links. Copying or downloading a result is your choice.

Images and results are held in the page’s memory while you use it. New image clears the previous result; closing the page ends the session. Files you download and text you copy remain on your device until you remove them.

Site delivery

The website and its recovery libraries are served by OpenAI Sites. Like other web hosting services, the host receives network information such as your IP address and requests for site files, and may retain service logs. This does not include the image or QR contents, because they are not sent to the host. Your browser may cache the site’s static files.

Cookies and advertising

This release has no advertising scripts, analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Advertising is planned but is not active. This notice will be updated before any advertising provider is enabled, with the necessary consent controls. Recovery will remain separate from advertising code.
